Event Support Program

Celebrate 10 years with TELUS Fund! Get funding for your event and help support health & well-being content.

TELUS Fund is seeking submissions from long-standing industry events taking place in 2023 with the potential to increase the discoverability of funded projects and/or stimulate the creation of more exceptional well-being content.

Opening date for submissions

January 9, 2023

Try to apply at least 40 business days prior to the event taking place

Closing date for submissions

October 31, 2023

For events taking place before December 31, 2023

How to apply

Start by confirming that your event is an Eligible Event delivering Eligible Activities.

Review the Evaluation Criteria within these Program Guidelines to determine if your event and activities are a good fit for TELUS Fund financing.

Minimum Requirements

Eligible Event:

has previously been held in-person, in Canada, at least twice in the last four years,
has expertise and experience in the television, feature-length film, and digital media industry,
has a successful track record delivering comparable Eligible Activities,
is headquartered in Canada, and
is Canadian controlled (Sections 26 to 28 of the Investment Canada Act).

Eligible Activities:

take place in 2023, and
demonstrate the potential to increase the discoverability of funded projects and/or stimulate the creation of more exceptional well-being content,
may include public screenings and gala celebrations that showcase funded projects,
may include masterclasses and panels providing training of benefit to future creators of well-being content,
may also include symposiums and workshops to debate well-being issues and stimulate future content ideas.
